Photography Competition on my Faviyrute Wild Animal / Flower
Department of Forestry, Dolphin PG Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, organized a theme based photography competition on 4th October 2023 to spread awareness on importance of wildlife & its conservation. The event was organized in two categories: A) Photography by participants of any age from Dolphin Institute (current/Alumni) B) Photography by Children of 7 to 15 year age. The received photographs were sent to the judges namely Ms. Shalini Raina IFS, Mrs. Mohini Rawat, Nature lover, Dr. K. Ramesh, Scientist WII, Ms. Sunita Rekhi, Conservationist & Dr. H. Nayak, Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology.
The results were as follows: Under the Category A: Dolphinite Alumni & Others, First Prize was bagged by Alfred Jemy, Pune, Maharashtra, Second prize was won by Javed Anver, Dehradun, Uttarakhand while the Third prize was given to Vartika Chaudhary, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Photographs of Shaina Thakur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand and Dr. Poojitha B.S., Bengaluru, Karnataka were also appreciated.
Under the Category B: Children [7-15 years], First Prize was won by Tanviha Giri, Noida, Uttar Pradesh while the Second prize was won by Maan Ingley Biswas, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Online certificates were sent to the winners of each category. We are very much thankful to all the participants for showing their interest in the activity.
Name: Serlyn Beypi Program and Batch: B.Sc. forestry 2017-2021 Current position: Forest Ranger Karbi angling district (Assam) Brief : Ms. Serlyn Beypi completes her B.Sc. degree during 2017-2021 in Forestry from Dolphin PG Institute. She was very active in her studies and has a great potential of sport spirit.
