Nearly 350 students from different colleges/Universities participated in webinar.
Dr. Rajiv Pandey elucidated the statistical methods and design of experiments used in agriculture in a very easy- to- understand manner. He explained various uses with live examples of mean, median, mode, covariance, regression, correlation, Standard Deviation, Standard Error. He explained how experimental error occurs under different conditions; and ways to reduce experimental error. The basic principles of Experimentation, and most commonly used Experimental Designs in Agriculture research like Randomized Block Design (RBD), Split Plot Design (SPD), Latin Square Design (LSD) were also explained along with basic understanding of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The elaborate description made webinar interesting and it was highly appreciated by UG and PG students.
