Key Highlights and Activities: The “Special Session on Personality Development” organized by the Dolphin Student Welfare Council on 2nd November, 2023 with an aim to facilitate the overall personality development of students. The main highlight of the event was the insightful lectures delivered by the renowned Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience in personality development Dr. Veena Krishnan. Her profound knowledge and engaging presentation style left a lasting impact on the audience.
She shared her expertise on three vital aspects of personality development:
1. Confidence Building: Dr. Veena Krishnan elaborated on various strategies and techniques to enhance self-confidence. She emphasized the importance of self-belief and encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones.
2. Public Speaking: The speaker provided valuable insights into effective public speaking, covering areas such as body language, speech delivery, and handling stage fright. Students had the opportunity to practice these skills during interactive sessions.
3. Time and Stress Management: Dr. Veena Krishnan shared practical tips for managing time efficiently and coping with stress. These skills are invaluable for students as they juggle academic responsibilities and personal growth.
